Th Ultimate Dragon: Chapter 16 Trapped...

"Hello? Anyone out there???" Said Cleo, her faint plees for help echoing off the moist, dripping walls. She could hear other voices all around her. Some high and shrill, with the sense of desperation. Others were a deep rumbling, the deep sinsation of anger lingering. Other times she would just hear yelps and screams, and the heart-stopping clang of dungeon doors being slamed shut before the prisoner had a chance to react-- but most of all, the laughter... The laughter of gaurds, the pleasure, the amusment they took on after seeing there expressions, usually frozen in the posture of dispair, never to be reversed...
   "DON'T BOTHER YOU FOOL!!!" Heard Cleo farther down the hall. "KING ZIEK WILL NEVER LET YOU OUT!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT BETTER BEFORE MAKING HIM ANGRY!!!!!!" She listened to the faint sobs, after yet again hearing the clang, then the laughter... She couldn't take it anymore.
   "LET ME OUT!!!"She screamed. "You will be sorry if you leave me in here!!" she bluffed. "I can let out the power of a thousand suns on you if I wish!!! Thats if I get angry... --AND YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE ME WHEN I'M ANGRY..."
   The guards mouth remained its straight position on his face. He blinked once, then turned, walking away, not saying a word.
   "COME BACK HERE, I AM TALKING TO YOU!!!"
   "They won't listen..." Said a voice behind her.
   Cleo swiveled around in surprise, her ears wipping the other creature as she turned.
   "PAA!! YUCK!! Your ears don't taste so good!!!"
   "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!!! I'm bluffing here!!!" Said Cleo ,now wispering through clenched teeth.
   "I know. Your an Ice Dragon, I doubt you have the power of a thousand SUNS. Did you even think before ya said that?"
   "Thats because I'm not an Ice Dragon..." Said Cleo smiling.
   "Ya shure look like one to me!! Although usually Ice Dragons have larger paws and shorter claws-- I admit ur differnt, but ya still look like an Ice Dragon, ta me."
   "That is where your wrong..." Said Cleo still smiling with that same mischevious smile as she then bent down on all fours. Clenching her paws into fists, she stuck her tail in to the air. Without a flyspeck of a second lingering in between-- Cleo, transformed, into her Electric form. Cleo only stared waiting for a reaction. Without another word from the wide eyed creature, Cleo decided to speak. "I'm, the ULTIMATE DRAGON!!!" Said Cleo, puffing out her chest as much as she could, taking on the most regal pose she could muster.
   The creatures mouth hung open, as she slowly shook her head from side to side, mouthing the words that seemed to be as silent as a butterfly's wisper.
   "What?......." Cleo finally heard.
   "YOOOOOOOOOU heard me!!!!!!!" Said Cleo playfully. "So whats the best way outta this dump?"
   "The creatue-- which Cleo could see now, was only an uber mal-nourished, thin, scragelly, shaky, grimy, bloody dragon, that apeared to be her age, finally seemed to come to her senses. "There ain't NO way out... I've been in here for TEN YEARS!!! --but I havn't seen the faintest glimpse of daylight since the first time I layed eyes on this wreched rat-infested, SKUNK-HOLE!!!!!!!" Said she, a grim, serious expression on her face. "Anyway-- so of all the dragons-- why are YOU in here? I mean, I thought you were all tough 'n' stuff!"
   "I'm 13, even I have my weaknesses."
   "So-- why? Why are yas in here fer?"Said the scraggelly dragon.
   "Serphenti wants to marry me..."
   ""--'n' ya refused, am I right?"
   ""Well-- of corse I refused!!!" said Cleo offended. "He's like-- 10!!!!!!!"
   "Tippical boy dragon... Keeps on pressn' til he gets what he wants... Matter a fact, you watch, after a day of steamin' over, he'll come down 'n' give ya a second chance. 'Cause when his mind is set, its freken set!!!"
   "That only gives my friends 24 hours to try 'n' break me outta this dump..." Said Cleo looking away.
   "Or-- you can wait til Serphenti comes-- and just LIE, he'll let you right out!!! You watch!!!"
   "So-- I diddn't catch your name--"
   "Kico. Don't worry-- I know your name Cleo!!!" Said Kico with a laugh. "So-- now what?"
   "We sit-- and wait..."
